In 18 years I've never seen it. Signs perhaps but that's only signs back
home in the U.S. that are written vertically in English (and it's weird
because my mind always processes them backwards at first.) Lazy teenagers?
Bizarre. Maybe while practicing shodou or something to keep from dirtying
your hand as you point out, but I can't imagine this is actually an
acceptable way of writing. Do the NSoJs have any input?
