Yes. Now that I can read Japanese again, I see that I blew that one.
It's a lot easier to understand the さえ this way, instead of trying to
squeeze an "all it would take" out of it.

Well, I still have 15 years (plus or minus 15) to master Japanese, so I
won't give up yet (even though it is obviously hopeless).
