You said my addition of "as universities see fit" was some kind of

It is. It's an incorrect "cutesy" way of saying nonbiri to shita. Ask
any native speaker.

For the above three, the old "argumentum ad strip the comment of all
context." My comments were (as all comments are) related to the specific
