None where I'm sitting. There are rather a lot of ?'s though ... _unless_ you
are using Arial Unicode MS.


So far as I can see, that font isn't installed here. I don't do Microsoft, unless I absolutely have to (and then it's on a different machine, because certain of my clients would have kittens if they discovered that I did their work on a computer that's connected 24/7 to the Internet...).


It has nothing to do with Microsoft. You just need a Unicode font - any Unicode font. You are certainly not restricted to Arial Unicode MS. I can't imagine the Macs - the ah, so progressive Macs - not having at least one such font.


And then you have to setup your Thunderbird to use this Unicode font for the UTF encoding. Note, this will not break your Japanese settings. You can specify distinct fonts for Japanese and Unicode.
