Our "translation" comes here:
Indeed, as Akira was standing on the kitchen earth floor, something black&white, round and small appeared in his palm. Yet, the mice from the house became a little fatter in size. They simply made their mind about becoming totally round. The sitting part of the back and around that place, a small bird or something resembling a chicken, was said #, not so much the eyes’ roundness but if you wouldn’t consider the tail it resembled an owl. Of course there were irregularities but generally put, the back was black and the bottom was white. Around the face there was a split into black and white with the nose tip placed in the white part and black spots around.
You're doing something that seems very common with beginners, namely ignoring the all-essential particles. It's 家に出るネズミを. Note the -ni and the -wo. Then find the verbs that relate to each. まるい頭(あ たま)をして with -wo should have been mistaken as "they were doing round heads" and we'd only have to point out the "doing a bodily feature" in Japanese is "having" one in English ("only, it had a rounder head than a mouse"--you seem to have ignored ネズミより entirely).
With the "fat mouse with a round head and a tail" bit, I thought at first it was a kitten, but if it looks sort of like a chick, but more like an owl, I'm baffled. What's it?
You do pretty well with the last two sentences.
Bart .
