There's language and language. Since Japanese is a popular option
in Business/Economics/Marketing courses here, most Japanese programs
include elective subjects in "Business Japanese" and the like, where
the sort of language skills *specific* to business environments are
taught. This usually includes giving presentations.
IMNSHO this is a very useful adjunct, as just "learn(ing) language"
is only a part of operating successfully in a business environment.
It *might* be adequate if you were joining a company via the regular
入社 process, but for people wanting to arrive running at a more
senior level, more is needed.
