I am not 100% certain, but I pretty sure that the 'm' is not accentuated, while not quite silent. I would compare the 'mti' to the mora 'tsu', where the two consonant sounds blend together into one. Are you talking about English, or the language "Mtigwaki" comes from?
I am interested in the English pronunciation. Note, e.g., there is no "mora 'tsu'" in English! (Not that I understand what you mean by "blend together.")
