I have added 散りばめる to the 鏤める entry.
Koujien also only has 鏤める, as has the Kodansha GJD, but the
latter adds: "《「散り嵌(は)める」の意》".
I take this to mean that 鏤める and 散り[嵌ば]める are not actually
the same verb written two different ways, but are two different verbs
that happen to be pronounced and mean the same 8-)}
FWIW ちりばめる gets 23,000 Googits, and 散り嵌める gets 9.
