Yes, perhaps, but i wished to use the "suggestion"
word (入れ知恵). Is it to be forgotten and not used at all (provided that my intention is to sound
normal and give impression of mental stability)?

I say yes, simply because after 6 years of studying Japanese I do not know this word (AFAIK I had never seen or heard it before your post).

Ditto to the not having seen it before, but I disagree that it should
be forgotten. Any Japanese word with (mumblety) tens of thousands of webpage hits is worth at least a cursory effort to learn.

It should, however, not be used in the way Konrad thought it should be used or in the sort of sentences where he thought he could use it.
