微妙. That wouldn't be impossible but "My suggestion is that we don't go to school"
would be much more natural a sentence to be uttered in that case.
Or maybe it's snowing very hard and one student is expecting school closure, but the second student thinks they should go to school anyway just in case.
Well that's more plausible than your first suggestion but it's still a sentence that needs carefully constructed context to
make it sound natural rather than one that stands on its own two feet.
