Of course there are lots of  words not in 大辞林 or my IME.

I found that it is mentioned in 大辞泉

so you shouldn't be too quick to assume Edict is necessarily
'wrong'.

In any case it is a sufficiently rare word that I wouldn't worry
too much about it.
