Some linguists--it might even be a consensus among Japanese
phoneticians--say that ん has a uvular nasal allophone. That's
something I never considered worth the effort to learn to make.
I pronounce 簡易 with only one consonant, and I've not been
misunderstood because of it. I suspect native Japanese generally do the
same, except perhaps in the most incredibly careful speech.
