Or simply I don't understand what "Give it a second thought. ;)" means...
I can only come with a translation like:
「考え直しててみたらどう？」but that doesn't sound so blunt...

What I should have
said is that I am really trying to understand Japanese to the best
of my ability and experience as a Japanese understands it. To that
end, I am playing in every way with how the language might work,
all the while trying to make sure my new interpretation still means
the same thing as my previous interpretations. I am not sticking to
any conventional grammar to do this. As I see it, that would be
like me working on a car engine with English tools and Philips head
screwdrivers when the car was built with metric tools and Allen
head screws. I really do not see good conformity of English grammar
rules when they are used to analyze Japanese.

Again, sorry to act like an ass.

Whatever screw driver and tool, just give me some _Japanese_sentenses_
to ilustrate your theory/hypothesis to distinct GA/ARU utterance and O/IR,
if you want to discuss about your grammatical thinking.
Sincerly I don't know what you are talking about with these terms.
