the children of emigrants, who are losing the anscesters language,
cultrue and tradition, losing the identity as Chinese?
(well, it can be Japanese, Korean, or Vietnamese, etc... just I think
the number of emigration from China is much more...)
Then the message this word carry is quite different from racism...
I don't know about that. That sense of "banana" implies a belief that
behaviour, thought, virtues, etc. are tied to the colour of one's skin. It
also implies that there is something wrong with "white." Right? That seems
like racism to me.
