Well it's _something_ like じゅう is all over a place and ちゅう is
within some
time period/while something is happening.
And じゅう is also throughout some time period:
夏休み中、一日中。

じゅう means "all the time or places when(while) or where one do/did something.
ちゅう means "at a certain time during when one do/did something.
