3. *Where do you think so because he went t?
Does this sentence mean, for example, "Give me some reasons
why you think that he went.
Otherwise, would you put your re-translated or the equivalent English
sentences as you intend so that I may be able to finish my first warm-up.
The English sentence #3 is gibberish. Perhaps that was intentional. The
purpose of the original poster is quite opaque.
The "*" on the front means "gibberish follows."
The purpose of the OP is only moderately opaque; he seems to be trying to figure out what constraints there are on movement in different kinds of languages.
If Chinese "You think so inwei he went where?" is really gibberish, that's maybe going to leave him with
1. SOV languages without interrogative movement allow the expression.
2. SVO languages without interrogative movement don't allow it.
3. SVO languages with interrogative movement only allow it when the movement is suppressed.
It is perhaps interesting that apparently the Chinese can't distinguish between the equivalents of
3. *Where do you think so because he went?
and
3'. You think so because he went where?
