Not the worst I've seen, but still silly.
I did google for kickbottle which indeed sound silly.
but I would like to hear your opinion on why 三川安敦 sounds silly
to you.
For I don't find it silly at all.
It is not us, but native speakers who find it silly.
In the years I have studied Japanese, I have heard native speakers say
over and over again that they consider it silly for a foreigner to
write his name in kanji.
Just last week I was having dinner with a number of people, including
some native Japanese speakers, and they were unanimous in saying that
if they saw a foreigner write his name on kanji on a business card,
they would consider it unprofessional and wonder if the person was
being serious.
What about Animal?
