Any particulary reason why your post was in Chinese Traditional (Big 5)
or are you still working out the bugs?

I'm still working out the bugs. I did start using 40tude Dialog earlier
than I had originally intended. The software says it automatically selects
the best character set based on the input method used. I use a Japanese
IME and do not even have the Chinese IMEs activated. The selection of Big
5 is puzzling especially since when I include Japanese text I've got
hiragana and katakana.

In the software configuration, it allows you to exclude certain encodings.
I have now included Big 5 in the 'forbidden' sets. Let's see what happens.
