Hi. I was just wondering about the purpose of your disclaimer. Do you
think it's enforceable?

He does have "X-No-Archive: yes" in his headers, but I believe it has to
be more specific to prevent Google from storing it beyond the three or
four days or so that they display all messages in the "groups". It's not
even clear that they really do delete messages with that header, either.


If you have "X-No-Archive: yes" in either the header or as the first line
in your text, Google Groups removes it from their archives after 7 days.
Of course, by that time, some, most, or all of the text in the removed
message may have found its way way in other posts that to not have the
"X-No-Archive: yes" stipulation.

The only way to prevent anyone from copying or quoting a message is to
not send it in the first place....

Absolutely. As I said above, by the time a message is removed, the text in
that message could be all over the place in archived posts.
