oh by the by, did anybody have trouble reading my post this time? i
tried a different input, so hopefully it worked out a little better...

I notice that this post is encoded differently from your first one. I can
read both without difficulty but, as we discussed before, the
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64 may give some people problems. If you
view the header, you can check to see what special encoding you have.

My guess is that this message is probably going to be more compatible with
most people's readers than the post that opened up this thread. That one
had Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64.

Moreover, I've found that as long as I'm using English language newsreader
software, I have to insert manual line breaks into the Japanese text.
There's a workaround you can use for longer passages. Use a word processor
to create the Japanese text and set the margins appropriately. Save the
file as a text file with the instruction not to use wrap-around but to
insert line breaks at the end of the line. Then, you can open that text
file and cut and paste into your newsreader. The line breaks will be
included in that transfer. This requires a certain amount of work so, for
short Japanese text, I manually insert the line breaks.

I point out the above because if you read your post in Google Groups it
looks fine. However, some newsreaders would show the post as a single
horizontal long line. This applies only to your first post in this topic
and most of your other posts. The way you did this post should work fine
for just about anyone.
