Can anyone verify this? I was reading a manga in which the character
wrote the name of his girlfriend followed by this character: 命
(inochi). Does anyone know what this means? My best guess is that it
expresses that his girlfriend is his "life," as in, the most important
thing in his life. If this is true, can it be applied to other
interests/passions?
