alternative glyph for 撥ねる?

Hi,

When I write the kanji 撥 that appears in the word 撥ねる, doesn't show
correctly in emacs. The right part of the kanji appears as 発, where it
should be 發. However, it is correct in other applications like firefox,
my terminal, etc.

I cannot find it in Charles Muller's or Jim Breen's dictionaries.

Is it an alternative for the right one? Or a simplified version?

By the way, I have had no problems with any other characters.

Thanks,

Evan
