Yep, my personal preference would be a Windows style apps running over
OS-X on a custom built PC box (probably AMD). Oh, I'd like to see lots
of Unix 'glue' scripting features too.
I love OS-X but apart from the obvious big boy apps that were always
more PC like (MS Office) or have already heavily morphed into PC/Mac
hybrids (Dreamweaver/Photoshop, etc), I find most other Mac apps
severely constricting.
Sure, I appreciate that perhaps the great majority of home users may
prefer simplicity but more often than not, in my eyes at least,
simplicity = restrictivity (not sure that's a real word but hey!).
