When the English subtitles said (something like) "Fool", is "tawake"
what Ieyasu said on KOMYOO GA TSUJI?
I avoided becoming slave to another Tiger Drama, so I didn't hear it,
but I don't see why a big shot like Ieyasu couldn't abbreviate
"tawakemono(me)" like that if he wanted to.
I have been totally slave to the History Channel somehow. By watching
the TV program on the Bataan Death March, I have learned that any of my
history teachers (in Japan, of course) didn't teach me anything about
the Bataan Death March. Needless to say, I had never heard of
バターン死の行進 when I was in Japan.
