よさほい節
In the yosahoi bushi, what does the "yosa hoi" and "hoi" mean?
I quote the first line here.
ひとつ出たほいのよさほいのほい
The refrain is: よさほいのほーい
Does it mean anything in particular? There are a lot of meaning in
goo国語辞典 for ほい, but none for よさほい。I can't see any
meanings in goo that make the song make sense, except perhaps for:
ほい
1（感）(1)物を担いだり、押したり、受け取ったりする時に発する掛け声。(2)失敗...[さらに]
if the song's protagonist has, erm, "uketotta" a "musume".
