But, it's not funny. You got to create jokes that are truly funny like
Bart does. I've started realizing that there is a big difference in
Japanese sense of humor and English one.

Japanese jokes -- the listener must understand the reason why it's
funny. The listener is required certain level of knowledge or
intelligence.

English jokes -- you just laugh at anything even though you don't know
why the jokes are particularly funny. And, moreover, you are excused
from not getting the point as long as you pretend to
giggle. (日本のカルチャーでは、このように分かった振りをするのは非常にカッコ悪いしキケンなのですよ。「意味も分からずへらへら笑っていると「お前なんで笑ってんの=どこがどうおかしくて笑ってんだよ」 この質問の答えによってはゲンコツが飛んで来るので要注意)

No wonder I used to get whooshed and hugged and snickered. I failed to
be stupid as other English speakers.
