I don't know the dialect, if it is ever a dialect, used in the

which means to the effect of "good" or "OK" and ほい sounds
"here" or "here goes!". So it sounds to me it is indicative of
that something is being done rhythmically and efficiently.

Thanks in advance for any help.
Could someone clever please explain to me, in simple terms designed to
OK, perhaps I can't explain simply and correctly, but I think
I can still simply guess.
enlighten one of the meanest understanding, why I keep getting these
posts in which some of the stuff is sensible Japanese and some of the
stuff is mojibake.
I checked the headers and could see:
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8"
My guess 1: Unicode sucks.
However, when I set Text encoding in Unison to UTF8 half of the stuff is
still mojibake.
This has been happening a lot lately. Cindy's posts, which I have been
seeing since she started using a new email address, are commonly mixed
up this way. It's the same thing with some other posters.
Is it that base64 as opposed to 7bit thing? Can we make these base64
people stop it?
What's the deal? I run a Mac because I don't want to bother with knowing
too much about all the background crap, just as I don't care how my TV
works so long as it works. I have other fish to fry.
My guess 2: Mac sucks, If understand correctly, UTF8 encoded
in base64 or other 7bit encoding is "recommended" on the
Internet and sending a post or mail in raw UTF8 codes is "not
recommended".
If the problem is that I am too stupid to see something bloody obvious,
break it to me, but break it gently, eh?
My not so simple guess: your news reader sucks and can't
handle base64 encoding correctly when it comes with Line Feeds
and Carriage Returns. If you concatenate all the base64
encoded-lines in the post manually and make them in one line
and they are all legible, that's it.
