Don, How can you come ot the conclusion that I am controlling and
abusive simply because I want to find out if my wife cheated on me or
not? I do not follow your logic at all to where in any of my writing
that I gave any indication of that.

Because during the years I worked in the criminal justice system I've
seen enough abusive personalities to have some clue about the symptoms
and telling behaviors.

This message of yours deepens my suspicions. You reject the advice you
asked for and suggestions for a better way of handling your problem. You
put the blame solely on your partner, not on yourself. It's sort of
like a common thought pattern among abusers: "I wish you'd stop making
me hit you."
