I find it surprising that we have clear evidence that the guy's wife is
cheating (if it's not a hoax), and all of you are surprised that the
guy isn't acting in a gentlemanly fashion. Let me ask you this: was his
wife acting in a ladylike fashion? This is reality, folks. Everyone
here expects him to be some kind of emotional C3PO when he finds out
his wife is cheating on them? "Darling, it has come to my attention
that you are engaged in an extra-marital affair. Please, sit down.
Let's talk." Whatever. If the guy's serious, then everyone here should
lighten up. So he posts some pictures from a diary. So what? Compared
to what she did, that's nothing. And if you disagree, then there's
something wrong with you, now with him.

My advice to this guy is to get the diary professionally translated.
There's very little text, so he could probably get it done for less
than $100, and if it's a reputable translation agency, his "anonymity"
(the confidentiality of the translation) should be a given.

Better yet, hire a private eye to get the diary translated. And to
follow his wife around, snap some shots. I'm happily married, but a
girlfriend in college cheated on me, and I understand that feeling of
having to know for sure.

On the other hand, if this is a hoax, well then it's pretty well done.
And for that, I thank him! :) The only thing that really makes me think
it might be a hoax is - how dumb would someone have to be to write all
those little heart marks on a calendar? If this was her private
calendar, why the English? If it's a calendar for everyone to see
(i.e., in the kitchen, etc.) then the comments seem excessively verbose
(especially the entry under Dec 26 - "I love Leon, my heart's all
aflutter, he makes me want more, but I don't think it will work out...
I love Leon, and that's enough for me, just to meet every once in a
while... God, forgive me...") Why would anyone write that much in a
calendar? It's not a diary, after all. Plus, if she's been married for
15 years, how is Leon giving her a present for her 32 scribble scribble
31st bday? Did Steve marry her when she was 17?

So, there are certainly some aspects to this that make me think this
guy might be a cuckold fetishist, but if he isn't (and if you aren't,
Steve, my bad, but you've gotta understand that newsgroups lend
themselves to that kind of speculation), then everyone's response here
has been inhuman, to say the least. Give the guy a break. His wife's
cheating on him with a guy named LEON for chrissake.
