Where is the line drawn?

Does anyone have an opinion on:

Should words like 毒男 should be submitted to EDICT? It's internet
slang, but it appears very frequently as a word in that book 電車男 which
has been read quite widely. It was translated as 'geek' in the
English version.

Or what about 乙 in the sense of 'o-tsukare'? It's certainly a slang
abbreviation but you see it fairly often and it's not obvious what it
means.

Or for that matter, abbreviations like おは meaning 'ohayou'. That's
quite ubiquitous in some forums but I don't know if EDICT would call
it a word. Or what about ありがとん? Or even just トン for short, although
I don't remember seeing that actually used much.

Where is the 'line-o-slang' drawn? Not every bit of horrible
ephemeral internet-speak belongs in edict but at the same time I think
that 毒男 probably ought to.
