Many thanks and one more question about HANJI+E

Many thanks to Andreas Rusterholz and John R. Yamamoto-Wilson for
answering my questions about "Hanjie".To complete the request I would
be obliged if you could let me know

what hanjiru is to hanji.
Is it like
to guess is to guessing
or like
to guess is to I guess
or even something different like
to guess is to guessed?
I make it clear that I know very very little (infinitesimal !)
Japanese, but ,hey, I always admit my weaknesses .
Regards with many thanks,
Urban
