between 全て (すべて = all, everything) and 全く(まったく = completely) are

To be precise : Instead of completely , I think "overall" conveys the
correct meaning of 全て in above example.
"Overall, they're ordinary" suggests that there are a few of them that
aren't ordinary, but not enough to be a saving grace. Rather different
from "Every last one of them is ordinary" in my book. Or does it depend
on what "they" are? (I have no idea about that. Who was the great
philosopher who said we need context?)
