No doubt, but it's time to learn to read. I'm a big fan of learning to write by hand as well, but I won't go into that now. Your next step is to take all that knowledge from 3 volumes of JFBP, arm yourself with a few references (I'm a big fan of "A Basic Dictionary of Japanese Grammar", "An Intermediate Dictionary of Japanese Grammar", "All About Particles", and "Japanese Verbs at a Glance"), and start reading stuff in real live form until it starts to make sense. Ditch the furigana ... it's a useful crutch for starting out, but it is still a crutch.
