I took another look at it. It could be ワィ but I'm not convinced it is.
Because it's on the curvature of the globe the letters are distorted and
one cannot tell for certain.
I guess you score low on spatial awareness tests. ;-)
It's the distortion that makes it look more like クィ (with one
vital difference) but by the same reasoning if you view it
as it would be on a flat surface it's obviously ワィ.
The clincher, though, is that the stroke going down on the top
left hand very clearly starts at exactly the same point as
the stroke going right. Distortion to a globe can't make
any difference to that.
