放縦 would be my choice if the implication is that the person is licentious.
好き放題 would be another way of conveying the sense of わがまま.
To give one example of the meaning that I'm thinking of, in the case
of the following specification document, written in English, the
Japanese authors have chosen to display their names using kanji forms:

It's my opinion that that is a form of "self indulgence". I'd be
interested to know what other people would translate this "self
indulgence" into. I thought of "hitori yogari" and would like to check
if that is correct.
I'd also be interested in what other people think of that style of
writing one's name.
