The site of one's newsfeed doesn't impact on the content. I
use Thunderbird as a news client, and all I have to do is
go to Account/Settings (or somewhere like that) and put
in a new address. It's different if you are using a web site
like Google groups, because then Google is doing the postings
for you.

So, I have to download a soft again. That'll make me very unhappy.

Probably not. Nearly every PC has a copy of Outlook Express, and Outlook
Express works reasonably well as a newsreader.

The Microsoft Outlook (so the icon is labeled) on my desktop has e-
mail system but doesn't have newsgroup. Also, it's not working
properly with my cable connection, so I stopped using it.

Outlook Express is not the same as Outlook. If you go to your programs,
you should be able to see it. It comes with the Windows operating system.
