I think I was thinking more along the lines of 'do they have parents
who would make a fuss about their kids being shown this kind of thing'
rather than whether the kids themselves would object :-)
Incidentally, it occurred to me rereading this thread that I wasn't
sure whether people were recommending the live-action movie or the
anime series. (Given that the anime is 40something episodes I'm
guessing you'd prefer the movie for your purposes.)
I note that if you search for 'Nana movie' on youtube.com you can
try before you buy, so to speak :-)
to understand than the very precise speech in the anime.
