Many of them claim that only the Dutch ever learn to speak Dutch
properly, because the pronunciation is too difficult to learn as an
adult. The way my throat feels after a short conversation, I'm inclined
to agree. Say something like "Het groene bottelen van Grolsch is groot"
10 times and the back of your throat feels sandpapered.
