Wanted: Moderators for Online Communities Fluent in English and Japanese

Greetings. I'm looking for a person fluent in English and Japanese to
help me moderate an

online community for users of Microsoft Office in the Japanese
language. The ideal candidate

will be fluent in both languages, have experience moderating online
communities, and have

knowledge of Microsoft Office. If the language requirement is met, I
can train the right

person. The need is for 4 hours a day, seven days a week. The
compensation is $20.00 an

hour and U.S. residence is not required. Do you know someone who

Wanted: Moderators for Online Communities Fluent in English and
Japanese

Mzinga, the leading developer and manager of high-traffic enterprise
online communities, is

currently seeking experienced, creative, and motivated moderators to
help with an upcoming

project. We are seeking individuals with 3-5 years of experience in
moderating online

communities and fluent in English and Japanese. A plus is experience
using Microsoft Office

Live.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

--scanning messages, blog entries, pictures, videos, and other
content to ensure they are

within community guidelines
--initiating and facilitating conversations, with some translation
work
--establishing and maintaining the tone of the community
--monitoring and reporting user trends and feedback


This is a part-time position and is well suited to individuals working
from home as

independent contractors. The ideal candidate has:

--3+ years experience in online community moderation/management
--strong written and verbal communication skills
--knowledge of online community software
--a degree in a social or computer science
--a flexible schedule - can work nights and weekends
--the ability to juggle multiple and often complicated projects with
differing expectations
--the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment
--a passion for making the Internet a better place to communicate
--infinite patience
--a sense of humor
