Sorry to *** in, but I've been kind of wondering where you're from?
I've lived in widely scattered places in the US, but can't imagine a
"washin'" : "machine" rhyme. (Like Peter [I suppose], I wonder whether
it's "waSHEEN" or "MASHin.")
I think I have heard people pronounce the first "t" in "interested," but
I can't remember who or where.
