it has found outside of Central Asia in Iran, Oman, "the Holy Land", Sinai
and Egypt.

there is a photograph of a live animal in captivity from Ain Gedi.

it lists the localities of sightings on "the Holy Land", which are quite a
number.

it says that it is closestly related to the fennec (the author is
geneticist).

I'll see if it is listed in an arabic Enc. of the Natural Sciences.
