Very sure. I can hear a lot more phonetic differences than I could
ever describe. A lot more than what IPA has symbols for.
And it isn't just the sounds as such. It's also rhythm, pitch, style,
it just sounds different.
Aren't there artists in countries where you live and lived who exploit
such differences? We have them here. They can switch back the way they
talk for 30 or 50 years at will. When they do, everybody recognizes it
immediately.
