Yes there will be about 150 000 rows because we will not dig deep into
English in first phase. The goal is to have many frequent words in the
main table translated into all common languages. Optimized English
dictionary wordlist will be used. Current version is now available at:
http://resources.euweb.cz/index2.php

Yes we know what is "database". Whole All free dictionaries project (
http://www.fdicts.com )is one big database :-). The trouble with
database is that few people out there have database server running on
their home computer. (I do not know if you have database server but I
know you can work with tables.) We will use database you will use
tables. Everyone has excel or oocalc. It will be possible to download
subset of the main table (for example all not translated words for
Portuguese etc.) and work on them offline - and that is why we need
tables in excel. To allow everyone to take a look into the main table
and use the translations we need common format. Is there better format
than xls or sxc for that?

We also need open office to be able to display much more than only
32000 records. Some 256000 would be fine. If you know someone who can
modify open office please tell him to increase the max count of
records.
