Does anyone know anyone who has learnt Chinese as an adult?
I tried just to learn a few words, and had enormous trouble. Generally
I am pretty good with languages too, but with any of the Chineses, I
just could neither hear or pronounce things properly, and managed a
near perfect miscomprehension rate!
