You've got it in one. Cows tend to leave similarly shaped flat items in the
fields they inhabit. As the PD itself was lost, and now found, it has
incarnated a lot of interest. Moreover, it's created a lot of theories of
which their originators have been more than proud of, possessively proud, or
psycho about. You've summed it up perfectly. The Phaistos Disk is the
incarnated psychopat.
