You are provably really stupid, so incredibly stupid that I don't know how
you get by to tie your damned shoes:

LOURDES is from the Dominican Republic. LOURDES speaks all kinds of Spanish
from Spain, Mexican, etc etc. Brazilian, Portuguese - has no problem
modifying speech when speaking TO people from these places. To her, it's
just like changing your accent a bit. I asked. She said "little different
ACCENT." She never said "different language."

That would agree with what FABIO says when he speaks to different people in
a language that HE ALSO says is pretty much the same, different accent. His
lover refers to that as "flourishes."

LOURDES married Peter whose father is Leo. Leo and Peter speak Italian in
the home. LOURDES says that her English is better than her Italian - but
she can speak some Italian to them. To her, Italian IS a different
language. That her English is better than her Italian when she's been
living with Italian speaking people is NOTED.

PETER learned Spanish, so he can speak to Lourdes in Spanish.

STANLEY is Polish. He's old. He's lived in France and settled for a long
time in French Canada. He speaks Polish, French and still speaks Russian.
