I prefer [@:] to [V":], cause I reckon that's what it is. But it's
definitely a different phoneme from the short vowel phoneme /@/ at the
end of RP finger, or the two reduced vowels [@] in the middle of
entrepreneur in most English accents. (Are these reduced vowels
phonemes? Depends on the analysis, and the variety, I guess.)
