What does it mean if this sounds okay (AP)
Some Members of House Have Fallback Jobs
Financial disclosure forms released Wednesday described the
deep-pocketed, the politicians existing on salary alone and the
well-traveled.
The deep-pocketed (...), the politicians existing on salary alone and
the well-traveled (...). The coordination evidently doesn't have to
cover all components.
That is, an adjective for the second component ``the hand-to-mouthed''
is not necessary. So each component must be a noun on its own,
without a common ellipsis being implied.
