Word processors [was Re: Phonemes]

I mean, did you spend a lot of time with PerfectWriter? The two of you got to be buddies?

TeX is crap.

Now, now, no need for such language. Tex has its uses and can be made
to look not-so-awful. No one seems to take the time, though. I've written nice documents in latex, but I surely don't like looking at other people's efforts(?).


So, to anyone who some times has to write documents with (for instance) cross-references: with what tool have you had your best experiences? (Big typesetting jobs not included.)
