The same definition that allows it to be applied to the Bush regime: the
total merger of corporate and government interests.

(And of course I know about the Peace Corps loophole in Starship
Troopers. If you'd been a high-schooler in New York in the 1960s you'd
have listened to Brad Crandall's proto-talk-radio call-in show on WOR
every evening and heard him endlessly extol Heinlein's proposal. Years
later he became the voice of Tums, but he was also the "host" and
narrator of one of the worst movies ever made, *In Search of Noah's Ark*
-- which I saw at the Uptown Theatre in Chicago (world's largest until
Radio City Music Hall opened) shortly before it closed it doors forever.
